“Finding myself on the couch making paper flowers. Healing... It gives me time to think and grief. Reading an article about the Japanese thought of making a 1000 cranes for happiness. I am realizing, I could use this as my healing project and give myself time to find my inner balance and to learn how to love myself again.

 

Every flower is a tear, every flower is a step closer to myself...

Davina spent a year working on her paper flowers and herself… Passing ups and downs, taking obstacles and amongst all, facing herself. This process resulted in her beautiful art-project “Lost Loves”.

 

During the Secret Places Festival part of her art-project “Lost Loves” will be transforred into a magical surrealistic installation of its own. Sahring the tears and the pain we all know oh so well, but also providing a shivering of hope…
