Sparrow Falls is a six-piece post-punk rock band from Maastricht, the Netherlands. The band plays a unique blend of raw, honest punk rock and dramatic rock with a pinch of 80ties hard rock! But this time on the Secret PLaces Festival they play their acoustic set!
Autumn 2013 marks the release of Sparrow Falls’ new EP Maelstrom. Recorded again with producer Igor Wouters (Gold, Backfire!, Born From Pain) at the Amsterdam Recording Company, six new songs elaborate Sparrow Falls’ take on post-punk rock: compelling power and committed reposes, intricate melodies and massive harmonies, bashing guitars and a lonesome piano. Like the on-stage twilight lamps framing the band’s energetic and affecting live shows, it has lightness drawn from almost any musical genre.
